Art as an Energy Source: Bow determines speed of the Arrow

Einstein and his findings have infinitely benefited the children of Adam. Scientists, who command blind and deaf acceptance with commoners, say that the anatomical shape of Einstein’s brains tell a lot about the genius of the German physicist. “Albert Einstein’s brain has often been a subject of research and speculation. Einstein’s brain was removed within seven hours of his death. The brain has attracted attention because of Einstein’s reputation for being one of the foremost geniuses of the 20th century, and apparent regularities or irregularities in the brain have been used to support various ideas about correlations in neuroanatomy with general or mathematical intelligence. Scientific studies have suggested that regions involved in speech and language are smaller, while regions involved with numerical and spatial processing are larger. Other studies have suggested an increased number of Glial cells in Einstein’s brain. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein’s_brain) The scientist is known more for his timeless formula of energy, e=mc2. However, philosophers too talk about the positive and negative forces in nature which influence the mind. The effect of attending a gathering at a mosque, for example, will be different from partying at a nightclub. There is surely some energy or force at work that attracts the mind. So we cannot deny the energy forms of untouchable objects, just as we believe light and sounds, which cannot be touched, are forms of energy. Creative Arts, therefore, which make a definite impact on its audience, is also a form of energy. The success of a work of art (i.e. its influence) may be based on the amount of mental energy exerted by an artist during its making. Consider the lines of Iqbal, the celebrated Poet-Philosopher, and the vigor it fires in the readers’ heart: I who burn like a candle for the sake of others Teach myself to weep like that candle. O God! A tear that is heart-enkindling, Passionful, wrong forth by pain, peace-consuming It is not that Iqbal used words which were out of others’ reach. But the bow determines the speed of the arrow. Bottom line: Art is a form of energy which does not die with the death of its artist. The energy spreads, from heart to heart, making it smile or cry, for ages and ages… Art, for the artists, is like an energy releasing exercise. The energy of such an energetic topic was creating waves in my mind. I had to release it somewhere, which is why you are reading this. Happy energy!
