Hate for humanity and Faith in God cannot co-exist

Hunger remains the greatest motivator in the world. The feast of breaking fast brings unimaginable joy for the believers. Community Iftars are thus humanitarian milestones because it tackles the hunger of the common lot with a devotional dimension.

Hate and bigotry have become ubiquitous around us. On the streets and neighborhoods, Hate has begun to reign unabated. Moreover, Hate is also spreading through our social media and personal messaging platforms.

Brothers in Faith. Islam is built on the foundation of love and compassion. Whatsoever be the hateful and painful provocation, our Faith does not sanction us to respond with sweeping hate and bigotry. Hate for humanity and Faith in God cannot co-exist.

We should take a pledge in this Holy Month to never share any hateful messages which violates our faith’s teachings and hurt the dignity of fellow humanity.
